Security You Can Trust

We are trusted by more than 40,000 registered clients, and we do over 100,000 transactions per year.

Your money is in safe hands.

The security of your funds and your data is very, very important to us. We keep funds in designated client accounts, and data and transaction information stay on a secure, encrypted portal with a host of security features.

We use secure socket layer (or “SSL”) technology to offer you the best possible protection. However, transactions over the internet always create some security risks. It’s important, then, that you protect all your passwords and access codes, to minimise the risk of unauthorised transactions. Never write down any passwords or access codes, and never choose an obvious code (like a birth date or telephone number) that could be guessed by others.

We are licensed and registered with all the right institutions.

1st Contact Forex is registered with HM Customs & Excise in the UK, as a Money Services Business (MSB registration number 12148630). We’re also registered with the Financial Services Authority as an Authorised Payment Institution (authorisation number 517570).

We’re also licenced for Aus and SA. In South Africa, we have a FSB licence (FSP licence number 41900). And our Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL number 335126) was issued by ASIC to deal in foreign exchange.

We meet all the required capital and liquidity requirements. We also stand under the financial controls and KYC (“Know Your Client”) policies and procedures of our corporate bankers. All our client funds are held in designated client money bank accounts with our corporate bankers.
